Hi, I am Ray/Rayhan.
I'm a bioinformatician at NalaGenetics, building genomic pipelines for disease risk prediction. I mostly deal with WGS data, variant calling, as well as PRS model analysis.
Aside from bioinformatics, I love diving deep into machine learning, especially ML for science, NLP, and language models. Lately exploring knowledge graphs, distillation, and inference optimisation. I also love working with structural biology data, especially protein structures (perhaps thanks to my undergrad thesis).
Away from the terminals, I love wet lab work, especially related to cell culture and molecular stuff. I have always found tactile work enjoyable. In my free time, I do photography, filmmaking, and writing.
